With an Array Formula, you can frequently create formulas quicker because you can eliminate several intermediate calculations.
I begin my introduction to Array Formulas by showing you how to use the SUMPRODUCT Function. Next, I show you two examples of Array Formulas in Excel. I also show you how an Array Formula provides a level of protection for your formulas, because you cannot edit a single cell in the array – you must select the entire range of cells that contain the array formula to edit it or to delete it.
